Web Push notifications extension adds to your OpenCart store the ability to send browser push notifications from within your Admin area.
This extensions provide easy integration for Firebase (free subscription) web push notifications with OpenCart stores. It enables visitors or only customers with an account to subscribe and receive web push notifications sent via OpenCart admin through Firebase. The notifications can be received in most web browsers on a desktops, tablets and mobile devices (soon available also on IOS 15.4). On tables and mobile devices you don't need a special App for it.
1: Sending notifications
All notifications can be sent within the admin area of OpenCart. Each notification consists of a Title, Text/Message, Link and an Image. 
2: Sending notifications linked to OpenCart pages
You can simple select a link type like Product or Category and select the right item through the search field. The following types are available:
- Product pages
- Category pages
- Information pages
- Manufacturer pages
- Search pages
- Custom link
3: Sending notifications to different subscribers
A notification can be sent to All Subscribers, but you can also sent a notification to a spefic group of subscribers, the following groups are supported:
- All Subscribers
- Subscribers that are Guests
- Subscribers that are Customers
- Subscribers in customer Group
- Subscribers with a Newsletter subscription.
4: Send notification at once or schedule them
It is possible to sent a notification at once. But if you want to sent it later, you can easialy schedule the notification any time. By a cron job, the notifications will be sent automaticle.

- Compatibility: Push Notifications works well in OpenCart version 2.0.0.0 and above.
- No extra paid subscription needed: You will only need a Firebase free account.
- Subscription for guests and customers: Both guests and customers with an account can subscribe to push notifications. It is possible to only let customers with an account subscribe to push notifications.
- OpenCart admin : Within the OpenCart admin you can control everything. You can see the list of subscribers and if needed disable a customer subscription. Also you can send notifications and the list of sent notifications or scheduled nofitications.
